Katherine Perez-Estolano for State Senate
CLCV praises Perez-Estolano’s vision, leadership and experience on environmental issues
Katherine Perez-Estolano earned the critical endorsement from the California League of Conservation Voters, one of California’s most respected environmental organizations, announced the Perez-Estolano campaign.
"California League of Conservation Voters is proud to endorse Katherine Perez-Estolano for State Senate,” said CLCV CEO Sarah Rose. “Katherine has spent her career working on issues critical to protecting our environment. We know she will be an effective leader on environmental issues including transit, land use, and investment in our parks and forests. Katherine has the vision, leadership and experience we need in the State Senate, and we look forward to partnering with her to protect the environment and health of all California communities."
Perez-Estolano has spent much of her career working on environmental issues. Katherine served as the Executive Director of the Urban Land Institute, Los Angeles District Council, was the Vice President of Development for Forest City Development and was the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Transportation and Land Use Collaborative of Southern California.
“I am deeply proud to earn the endorsement of the California League of Conservation Voters,” said Katherine Perez-Estolano. “I have spent my career working on issues involving transit, land use and open space protection. These issues will all remain my top priorities in the State Senate. Having CLCV’s endorsement is personally meaningful, and I look forward to partnering with them to protect the environment and health of all Californians.”
Perez-Estolano has called the San Gabriel Valley home for nearly 25 years. She and her wife, Cecilia V. Estolano, live in the Bungalow Heaven landmark district in Pasadena and together have six children. Perez-Estolano is an expert in urban planning, transportation, and community engagement. A small business owner and educator, Perez-Estolano is the Co-Founder of ELP Advisors and is an adjunct professor at both UCLA and USC. She began her career in public service in South Pasadena as Transportation Manager and later Deputy to Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard.
Senate District 25 connects the Los Angeles County foothills from Sunland-Tujunga to the City of Upland in San Bernardino County. The district includes Sunland-Tujunga, Glendale, Pasadena, Altadena, Atwater Village, La Cañada-Flintridge, La Crescenta, Montrose, South Pasadena, San Marino, Sierra Madre, Monrovia, Duarte, Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne, Claremont, San Antonio Heights, Upland, and most of Burbank.
